The group is welcoming and knowledgeable, ready to share their skills with volunteers of all levels.  It’s a great way to keep active and meet people too! For more information please email: info.longrunmeadow@gmail.com

Orienteering

Longrun Meadow features a Permanent Orienteering Course (POM) with 20 oak marker posts, each labeled with a letter and number corresponding to the map. This course is perfect for family activities, orienteering training, athletes, and school projects.

You can access the course through the MapRun app, the iOrienteering smartphone app using QR codes, or by downloading the map [here]. Additional course information is available on the noticeboard outside COACH, located by the bridge into French Weir Park.

For more details about orienteering in the area, visit Quantock Orienteers, who offer a variety of events including a regular Junior Orienteering Group.
